Brief introduction:
Salt Mountain in Cigu:Cigu Saltern is located in Cigu Country and Jiang Jun Country in Tainan County, south to Jiang Jun River, north to Xia Shan River, and west to Tai 17th Road, with a total area of more than 2700 hectares. The field was established by Salt Company in Taiwan, Southern Japan Salt Company and Head Factory of Taiwan Salt Industry in 1935, 1938 and 1971. Sabkha crystallized pools are all of “earth tray formation”. It is one of the most important provider of industrial salt in Taiwan.
Aping Fort:Taiwan city was also called "Imperial Castle", "Chihkan Fort" or "Anping Fort". Built in 1624 by the Dutch and completed in 1634. Its first name was "Orlande City" and later it was re-named as "Fort Zeelandia". Because Chinese people called the Dutch the Red-hair. Therefore they called this Fort as "Castle for the Red Hair". After WWⅡ, it has been called "Anping Fort" until now.

Love River ( Boat tours):
To enjoy the full experience of the Love River, a boat tour has
become a popular choice amongst visitors. In 2004, the
Transportation Bureau introduced The Love Boat River Tours, which have become very popular. The "Love Boats", gracefully floating up and down the Love River are central to Kaohsiung's developing tourism and one of the best ways to see the city.
Kaohsiung Horber:
Situated in the southwest section of the city, Kaohsiung Harbor is favored by a large area (26.66 square kilometers), vast hinterland, and moderate climate. It is Taiwan's largest international port and the world's sixth-largest container harbor. The harbor has 18 kilometers of navigation channels and can accommodate ships of more than
Former British Consulate at Takou:
Built in 1865 during the Ching Dynasty, The Former British Consulate is located on a small hilltop overlooking Hsizuhwan Bay. It was the first consulate and Western style house built by the British in Taiwan. The beautiful terrace gives it a very British appearance. Inside features a display
of precious historical artifacts. Outside, the view of Hsizuhwan Bay can be seen on one side, while the other looks out over the Kaohsiung Port.
Cijin Beach:
From the Cijin Ferry Station, go straight to the end off Miaocian Road. Cijin Beach has soft sand and blue waters. There is a park right next to the Beach. Beach facilities include a seaside walkway, a nature trail and an ecological zone. Even when the beach is not officially open, many people still enjoy visiting the area.
Dream mall/ HANKYU department stores:
Dream Mall Shopping Center: PIDC was one of the investors in this commercial center complex project. Dream Mall was officially operational in June 2007.

The total fees of this package is U$150 which will include attendance at all sessions, welcome reception & gala dinner, snacks and drinks at tea break, luncheon & dinner on May 8 and 9, city tour and all activities’ transportation fees.

8.Accommodation
PTPI Tianan chapter has made agreements with these two hotels(details given below) and they would offer a preferable price of accommodation. You could choose the preferred one and reserve rooms.
You could use the Hotel Reservation Forms which are on the appendix pages to make a reservation by email or fax to hotel booking center.

Tariffs:
Hotel rates include the accommodation for one suite of 1 or 2 persons and per night. All other extra charges (foods, beverages, laundry service, and telephone calls etc.) will be your own responsibility and must be settled directly with the hotel on checkout. Offered rates may be amended without prior notification.

PTPI Tainan chapter and Ms. Karen cannot become involved with any complaint that has not been addressed with the hotel management at the time.
9.How to Get to Tainan City, Taiwan
There are two international airports in Taiwan, GPE(TAOYUAN)International Airport and KHH(KAOHSIUNG)International Airport.
If you arrive at GPE International Airport(Taiwan High-speed Railway station) and then take Taiwan High-speed Rail to Tainan station. We will have someone to pick you up at Tainan station., you can take a taxi from the GPE airport to TAOYUAN station
If you arrive at KHH International Airport, you can take a taxi direct to Tayih Landis
Hotel. The routes, distance and time are shown in every detail and particular as below.
